Customer Requirements
A company specializing in surface treatment technologies was seeking a reliable solution for the regeneration of chemical baths used for removing paint from products. During the stripping process, a suspension containing paint residues and other solid contaminants is generated and must be separated from the chemical solution.
The required technology had to provide high separation efficiency while operating at elevated temperatures of up to 85°C and ensure long-term, reliable operation with minimal maintenance requirements.
Delivered Solution
ENVITES designed, manufactured, and supplied an automatic chamber filter press K630/20, including a complete filling system.
The suspension generated during the regeneration of the chemical bath is pumped into the filter press, where pressure filtration separates solid particles from the liquid phase. The process produces a dewatered filter cake containing retained paint residues and a clarified chemical solution that can be returned to the production process.
The technology was specifically designed to withstand elevated operating temperatures and the particular characteristics of the processed medium.
Technical Parameters
- Filter Press: K630/20 Automatic Chamber Filter Press

Project Execution
The scope of supply included the design, manufacturing, and delivery of the filter press together with the filling system. The technology was engineered for demanding operating conditions, including high process temperatures.
The K630/20 filter press represents a proven solution for applications requiring efficient separation of solid particles from process liquids while maintaining high filtration performance and operational reliability.
Project Results
The supplied technology enabled efficient removal of solid contaminants from the chemical bath and allowed the regeneration and reuse of chemicals in the paint stripping process. As a result, both chemical consumption and waste generation were significantly reduced.
This project is another example of the successful application of ENVITES filter presses in industrial filtration processes where high demands are placed on reliability, durability, and long service life of the equipment.
